Use the Desktop Setup Account Security window to apply security settings to account numbers or groups of account numbers by component or alternate security code. This configuration determines what spending transaction user groups are able to access. For example, you may want to limit which user group has access to view salaries. These permissions are also established when setting up General Ledger.
