Room Scheduling
Important
Information and features vary according to the roles to which you belong and the permissions associated with those roles. For more information, contact your module manager or your campus support team.
This feature allows you to search for and retrieve a list of rooms and view courses scheduled in those rooms.
The Retrieve Rooms button retrieves rooms for a selected building and populates the Room drop-down.
The Room radio button allows you to select a specific room or the All Rooms criterion from the drop-down and displays courses scheduled in those rooms for the selected buildings when you click the Search button. If you change the Building, the Room drop-down clears until you click the Retrieve Rooms button again.
The String Search radio button allows you to select a filter.

In the Term drop-down, select a year-term-subterm combination. This is a required field.
Select a Campus.
Select a Building.
Click the Retrieve Rooms button. The room list appears.
In the Room Search section, click either the Room or the String Search radio button.
If you click the Room radio button, select a Room.
If you click the String Search radio button, select a filter type, and then enter the text to search for.
6. Click the Search button. Search results are grouped by Room and sorted by Meets, Dates, and Course.
1. From the Room Scheduling feature, make selections for a search.
2. Click Search. The results appear.
3. Click the Set Options link. The Portal User Options appears.
4. Make a selection in the Default Campus drop-down.
5. Click Save. This default value displays in the Campus drop-down as the default when you perform a course facilities search.
