No configuration setup is required in J1 Desktop to support the Candidate Detail feature. However, the feature uses data based on counselor assignments defined in J1 Desktop and the program and divisions noted for each candidate. If you wish to have a counselor be able to see his/her candidates, the counselor’s initials must be defined on the Candidate tab of the Maintain Candidacy window for the specified candidate ID number and/or the counselor must be associated with one or more Division/Major combinations in the Candidate Routing feature.

Configuration settings in Campus Portal can be done by roles with permission to access and administer global and portlet settings.
