Set a Campus Portal Role's Access to a Page
In order for Campus Portal users to access certain pages and the related features, the role to which they are assigned must be granted access using the Access page.
User role access to pages and global operations within pages can be added or removed.
Log in to the Campus Portal as an administrator.
From the page to which you want to add access, click the wrench icon to expand the Admin Toolbar.
From the Admin Toolbar, click Access. The Access page appears.
Click on the Campus Portal role you are setting up permissions for. If the role has not already been granted access to the page, click the button to toggle it to Visible.
To give this user role access to one or more global operations on the page, click the button for the permission to move the toggle to Yes.
Repeat this task for each Campus Portal user role that should have access to the page.
Log in to the Campus Portal as an administrator.
From the page to which you want to add access, click the wrench icon to expand the Admin Toolbar.
From the Admin Toolbar, click Access. The Access page appears.
Click on the Campus Portal role you are setting up permissions for. If the role has not already been granted access to the page, click the button to toggle it to Hidden.
To remove the user role's access to one or more global operations on the page, click the button for the permission to move the toggle to No.
Repeat this task for each Campus Portal user role that should no longer have access to the page.
Log in as the Campus Portal administrator.
Navigate to the page for which you want to add or remove access.
Click on the wrench icon to expand the Admin Toolbar.
From the Admin Toolbar, click Access. The Access page appears.
Click on the Campus Portal user role you want to update. The global operations that apply to this page appear.
To give this user role access to a global operation on the page, click the button to toggle it to Yes, indicating that the role now has permission. Repeat for each global operation the user role needs to perform.
To remove this user role's access to a global operation on the page, click the button to toggle it to No, indicating that the role no longer has that permission. Repeat this step for each global operation the user role no longer needs to perform.
Repeat this task for other user roles as applicable.
