Description

Focuses on a holistic approach to the care of the individual or groups of individuals throughout the life span who are experiencÂing multiple, common, well-defined health problems. Emphasizes the completion of the role change process as the student prepares to assume the full scope and legal framework of associate degree nursing practice. Students explore the impact of current issues in nursing on the role of the ADN. Clinical learning experiences occur in structured health care settings and are correlated with classroom instruction. Prerequisite(s): BIO218, NUR 226 and PSY207 Corequisite(s): COM111 and humanities elective
