Description

This course introduces the student to the healthcare industry and the medical assisting profession. Students will learn therapeutic communication skills and how to properly interact with patients and different healthcare professionals. Students will begin learning about the different healthcare records and how they work in the medical office. Prerequisite(s): None Corequisite(s): ALH220, BIO114, MDA110 and MDA112

This is a 7-week course that will run from the beginning of the semester through week 7.
