Description

Exposes experienced EMS providers to the role of EMS instructor. Theories and concepts of adult learning are introduced. The course focuses on instructional preparation, student evaluation, and presentation skills. Upon completion, students may be eligible to become licensed as Maine EMS instructors. A student teaching experience is required. Prerequisites: 3 years experience in EMS or critical care, letter of recommendation from service chief
