Description

This course is designed to allow students to integrate pathophysiologic principles and assessment findings to formulate a field impression and implement an assessment and treatment plan for the geriatric and psychiatric patient, as well as the patient with special needs. Topics will include age/condition specific assessment and management of respiratory, cardiac, trauma, neurological and behavioral emergencies. Prerequisite(s): EMS115 Corequisite(s): None
