Description

This faculty directed practicum gives each student the chance to develop competency in the clinical setting, while working one on one with an experienced preceptor. Clinical rotations occur in both the hospital and field, including: cardiac care units, emergency departments, operating rooms, and ambulance services, to name a few. Students must complete the minimum number of skills and hours established by MEMS and this program to be eligible for certification exams. This is one of three required clinical courses at the paramedic level.
Prerequisite(s): EMS 213 & EMS214 . Corequisite(s): ALH 124, EMS205, EMS 220 and EMS 222
