Description

Building on skills learned in the lab and in the hospital setting, students will apply their knowledge to actual patient situations in prehospital settings. Students are partnered with preceptors who will assist the student into the role of an advanced level EMS professional. Students must complete the minimum number of hours and skills established by MEMS and the program to be eligible for certification exams. This is one of two required clinical courses for the AEMT Program. Prerequisite(s): EMS114 Corequisite(s): ALH 124, EMS 122 and EMS 130
