Description

Continues topics studied in ECE 230 with emphasis on the development and evaluation of curriculum and materials suitable for the preschool child and for school-aged children in childcare settings. Coursework will focus on curricula as exemplars of developmentally appropriate practice in early childhood education and on practical issues around implementation of curricula for children in this age group. Students will work toward development of their personal definition, goals and values around curriculum. Prerequisite(s): ECE105 and ECE200 or commensurate experience Corequisite(s): None
