Description

Detailed analysis of the four main suspension systems used in the trucking industry, walking beam, air, spring and torsion bar design. Troubleshooting and repair of these systems will be covered in detail. Maintenance of tire and wheel components along with wheel end adjustment, replacement and inspection procedures will be practiced. Front axle alignments and adjustments to toe angle will be practiced for competency and accuracy. Introduction to equipment suspensions will be introduced; tract and roller systems.

*For the full time program this course meets for four weeks.
