Description

Continuation of BIO 120. Topics include: Sensory, Circulatory, Urinary, Lymphatic, Digestive, Endocrine, Reproduc?tion Systems and Fluids, Electrolytes and Acid-Base Control, as well as Nutrition and Metabolism. The intent of this approach is to allow the student to develop a concise understanding of how each system of the body functions and interacts. The concepts covered in the lecture course are explored in greater detail in lab. Models, prepared slides and pre?served specimens will all be used to supply the student with a detailed view of the anatomy of the body. Prerequisite: BIO 120
