Description

Introduces the career of a heating technician. Students will gain knowledge of the fundamental process of supplying heat for comfort. The major focus is heating fundamentals, warm air systems, various piping layouts and styles, hydronic systems including radiant floor, system sizing and computer software for heat load/loss calculations. Prerequisite(s): PLH 122, PLH 123 or instructor’s permission Corequisite(s): None
