Description

Focuses on understanding medical insurance and billing of the diverse medical insurances, including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicare and Medicaid in the healthcare industry. Provides an overview of insurance claim procedures and legal aspects of billing. Provides a forum in which students strive for accuracy in completing medical insurance forms. MDA124 satisfies the business elective requirement for academic majors with such a requirement. Prerequisite(s): ALH124 and ALH220 Corequisite(s): BIO211 and MDA111
