Description

Designed to meet the needs of healthcare professionals, EMS and nursing students who respond to or are learning to respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies. It teaches the role of the healthcare provider and the community in the total emergency cardiac care system; the information and techniques needed for adult and pediatric CPR and special rescue situations; signals and actions for survival that victims and healthcare providers must take to lessen the chance of disability and to prevent sudden death; and injury prevention in the pediatric age group.
