Description

This course covers the pathophysiology, kinematics and management of the trauma patient. Topics include, but are not limited to, multisystem trauma, spinal injury, orthopedic injury, internal injury, burns and current trends in trauma management. Through the lab portion of this course, students will complete a Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) course. There is an additional cost for this certification. Prerequisite(s): EMS115 Corequisite(s): None
