Description

Emphasis is placed on the creation of an environment that supports development of emergent literacy and encourages young children's exploration and enjoyment of literature. Experiences will include development of reading centers; storytelling; creative dramatics; and evaluation, selection and presentation of age appropriate reading materials. Students will directly explore a variety of children's literature appropriate for use in early childhood settings. Prerequisite(s): None Corequisite(s): None
