Description

This course familiarizes students with commercial building design and drafting of masonry and steel structures while developing computer-aided drafting skills. Topics include planning and zoning requirements, site design, green building fundamentals, foundations, masonry and structural steel. Students will participate in a commercial building class design competition. Technical communication, math and CAD skills are integral to the course. Prerequisite: DRT 123 or equivalent
