Description

This course introduces students to mechanical engineering and manufacturing drafting and design. Students will begin with technical sketching for orthographic and isometric views of mechanical parts. Computer software for 3-D designs will be used to create parts and assembly drawings. Student designs may be built on a 3-D printer. This course emphasizes understanding of the 3-D design process and visualization skills.
