Description

Complete teardown and rebuild the diesel engines to include details of construction and theory of operation of four-cycle diesel engines. Disassembly and rebuilding of various makes and models of engines for service and study of engine components is done on mechanical and electronic controlled engines. Study and diagnosis of basic engine operation in conjunction with the different fuel, coolant, turbo and EGR systems. This will enable the students to gai knowledge of relevant systems and apply their technical skills and workplace competencies per the competency profile description.
