Intermediate Accounting II (ACC 220)

Description

Continuation of ACC 210. This is the second semester of a two-semester course designed to give the student an in-depth overview of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting of corporate structured business. Emphasis is placed on special problems which may include debt and equity financing, leases, investments, capitalizing interest, and employee compensation. Other dimensions of financial reporting such as earnings per share, accounting changes and error corrections, are also covered. Practical application will be by using a computerized homework system and case studies. Prerequisite(s): ACC210 Corequisite(s): None
