Because of the increased number of online courses, NMCC now requires that all students have a laptop computer that meets certain specifications. Click here for laptop specs. This new requirement allows for the purchase of a laptop to be considered similar to the purchase of textbooks and tools through the financial aid process or the agency support process.
If you qualify for Federal financial aid and need a laptop for your NMCC courses, you should complete the Laptop Request Form by clicking here. Once your information has been reviewed, you will receive information regarding next steps toward the purchase of the laptop. The Laptop Request Form is also available on the NMCC Portal under Student Forms and Documents and should be submitted to Michael Williams, Director of Finance, at email@example.com.
You will receive notification from Mr. Williams regarding the amount of financial aid in your account that can be used for the purchase of the laptop, and you should contact Becky at the Bookstore at NMCC 207-768-2835 to submit your order. It takes approximately 2 weeks for the order to be processed and delivered, so we encourage you to begin the process as quickly as possible.
